My philosophy on leadership and teamwork is that serving others - team members, coworkers, the community - is the basis of which to build the other aspects of leadership. In the opportunities that I have had to take direction of a team or organization I try to lead by example by being the first to jump in on a task, while always being open to the concerns and suggestions of the rest of the team.
